As noted, have owned this very reliable time piece for over two years. So, this is not a next day review. This has weathered severe several day power outages in the northeast u.s. winters and been all over north America with me. It has never failed to seek and lock an atomic clock signal. the radioceptor 3 placed at the bottom left quadrant reliably indicates signals. The battery has continuously displayed a level H, indicating full charge. This usually sits on my kitchen ledge with an easterly facing sun exposure all day every day, except when I travel and on weekends. It is worn during dirty jobs, wet jobs and in the sea (live in a sea coast town) and active in tidal flats, so that means seawater and mud and sand. Cleans up well and is well sealed. G Shock is an extra insurance on the occasions I bang into something or something has banged into my wrist. has happened and not scratches or dents. As it it solar battery powered and atomic clock monitored, it is often checked against other timing instruments that are similarly powered: wall clock, alarm clock as well as traditional cell phone time signal. The performance is solid. it has a reliable alarm, stop watch and countdown timer (used for cooking purposes) when timing sauce or other sensitive item when time to complete is critical. Have even used it reliably to time uss sanctioned swim meets and children competing in same.

I couldn't be more pleased with this. It is square, looks pretty plain etc. This is not a "fashionable" watch, but I did not acquire it for that purpose. I own several watches of different types and this is the workhorse. I expect this watch will simply last and last until the internal solar collector battery reaches its life limit, whenever that will be.
