I am a big watch fan -- face it, it's really about the only jewelry a guy can wear if one is not into rings and bracelets, which I am not. I am pleased to have Breitlings, Tags and some very nice Dakota, Timex, Seiko and similar brands. Stuhrling is new to me and this is the second I've purchased from Amazon.

I like yellow and the yellow of this dial is a nice shade -- apparent but not obnoxious. The dial face is embossed with little dots which I find attractive and not at all busy. The hour and minute hands are attractive and against the dial, easy to read, even in low light. An embossed wave pattern on the bezel is a bit busy for my taste but does not diminish from the crisp appearance of the watch. I am really happy with it and the first day wearing it, got a compliment from a server in a local restaurant -- the first watch she has ever commented on. The dial went well with the eggs!

My only beef is the strap -- it is rubber, which I like, and embossed near the watch itself. The strap looks nice but I don't find it especially comfortable in that the rubber is squishy and seems to cling to my skin rather than simply rest and glide on my wrist as my other rubber-strapped watches do. And this is now, in winter, when the humidity is zilch. I would think humid weather would make this sensation worse.

I hope to replace the band soon, through Stuhrling if possible, or an after-market.

Other than than -- I love the watch for its yellow dial, handsome face and overall handsome appearance. Amazon has it priced very well. By the way, the presentation of the watch in its box and accompanying papers is as good as anything I've seen from Breitling and better, in my opinion, than Tag's presentation.
