Seiko Premier Alarm Chronograph Mens Watch SNA747 Review

PROS:
Beautiful appearance.

Alarm and chronograph feature.

Alarm dial can also be used to know the time in a different time zone.

CONS:
The original leather wristband contains a metal hinge mechanism which is supposed to facilitate removing and putting the watch back on. However, it is a bit uncomfortable. It makes it feel more like a metal wristband. Removal of this piece was simple. I brought the watch to a jeweler and they put on a standard latch, which made the watch more comfortable and lighter.

Visibility of second hand is poor since it is about the width of a hair.

Minute and second hands can be also a bit hard to discern in low light. The images on the amazon website seem to show the hands standing out better than in typical lighting conditions.

Alarm is a bit quiet, but I have not missed waking up from it. If you are a heavy sleeper, you might need a backup alarm.

Would buy this watch again knowing it's minor shortcomings.
