I wear this watch all the time ,even occasionally to work, although its not nearly as dressy as my Seiko dress watch.Keeps time accurately and is rugged. I don't know what they coat it with,but it has been very effective against scratches. I think that's why the retail price is so high. No problems getting it wet or in the water. Very highly recommended as a sports or recreational watch!
