I love this watch. It is much prettier than shown in the photo. If you want more detail, visit the JBW website. The watch is beautifully made. The packaging is up-scale and make it a very nice gift. The watch itself was shrink wrapped to prevent scratching. The dial is interesting and actually is dark gray-black mother of pearl. The color of the watch is actually a very dark gun-metal gray and not black-black.

The watch is also large and heavy. I have a similarly styled Fossil Watch and while this one is about the same size, it probably weighs twice as much. I've already gotten used to is, but this is not for a petite, small boned woman.

The one gotcha is that if the band needs to be resized, you have to either take it to a jeweler or buy a special tool from the manufacturer. I make jewelry and have an unusually diverse set of tools, but this is not a do-it-yourself project. After watching the manufacturers video, I took my watch to a jewelry store with an on-site jeweler and he was able to take out the links using a tool designed for a Tag Heuer watch. He had to make it work, it wasn't easy. It cost me $22.50 to get it done, but I think it was worth it.

This watch by model number is still being shown on the JBW website as selling for $650. They have a similar one on sale for $250. This makes the Amazon pricing (especially with Prime and in spite of the extra expense for the band adjustment) a very good value.
