I'm not too keen on watches that have a busy dial face. This watch is about as simple as you can get. No date display, no second hand, no fancy styling.

The 40 mm face looks intimidating until I place the watch on my wrist. Then, it looks and feels just right. The watch is light in weight. The band is very comfortable. It's said to be a genuine leather strap and it really looks sharp. The brown color coordinates well with the gold face. I searched through a lot of on-line sites and was surprised to find a sapphire crystal for such a low price.

You won't be able to view the watch hands in low light, and I'm sure the face will be difficult to read in bright sunlight. But I only intend to wear this watch when dressed up for a night out.

Perhaps in a year or more I'll be able to say how well it holds up. It comes with a 2 year warranty.
The packaging for shipment was not the most secure. The bag was torn on arrival. There's nothing special about the case. It's an elongated cardboard box a little longer than the length of the watch. But I intend on purchasing a watch case so that's no big deal.

I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for simple styling, decent workmanship, and a reasonable price.
