The Vostok Europe Men's Gaz-14 Limo Watch is an intriguing accessory that makes a great casual look even better. The round, polished silver-toned stainless steel case features a matching bezel, and displays a captivating shine that complements the watch's design. The silver dial displays blue Arabic numerals at each hour with the exception of the six o'clock hour, where a matchstick index is displayed. The luminous blue hour and minute hands, and a blue second hand are easy to see against the silver and black dial along with three chronographic subdials with 60-second, 60-minute, and 24-hour time. Other features of this timepiece include an outside minute track and a date window near the five o'clock hour. The blue alligator leather strap securely fastens with a buckle clasp. This timepiece offers reliable Japanese quartz movement and is protected by a durable mineral crystal. This stylish watch is water resistant to a depth of 165 feet (50 meters).

I ordered this watch expecting it to be bling blingy. It's not. I was a little disappointed. The more I looked at it, the more I appreciated it for what it IS. It's a fantastic watch. It's beautiful without being too flashy. It's not that heavy and it's a decent size. It's not dramatically huge like some of the other watches that I have. It's just right. It seems to be made well and it tells the time. What more could you ask for. The price seems high. This is especially true since it uses Japanese quartz movement but many high end watches do. Perhaps I'm automatically spoiled. Despite that, this watch is definitely a conversation piece. How often do you see someone wearing a Vostok Europe?

I'm worried about the domed mineral glass. On one hand, the curvature will deflect many incidents but on the other, it's mineral and if dropped on it's face onto concrete then that'll be the end of that! I'm very careful with my watches so I shouldn't have that problem but if it does happen, I'll be sure to update this review.
