I paid way too much money for this watch, but it was the blue against the black dial that persuaded me. I just ordered a black watch with green on the dial, at a much lower rate. I love wearing both of them. The rubber strap/watch band is much more flexible/bendable, and I am wondering just how well and how long it will hold up. The other brand of watch I buy is Invicta, and their rubber watch bands are so stiff and durable, there is no question that they will hold up. Does stiffness = strength? I don't know, but this watch will be very comfortable right out of the box. Great investment. Great looking watch!
