This was a gift for my husband for Father's Day. He's very picky about watches and after losing his Rolex didn't really want to replace it with anything that didn't match up to his eclectic style. He actually guided my decision with the style of watch he was looking for. I ended up choosing this one for the watch band. It arrives in a long wooden box which makes it look suspended in the air, which was a really nice touch. The watch itself is beautiful. The internal workings are interesting and enchanting, and the colors really play well off each other. It's fun that you can wind the watch, but you don't even need to do that because it works off the movement of your hand. My husband has yet to let it unwind completely. It's waterproof, he's worn it in the pool without damaging it.

The only minor complaint is that when the watch isn't snug against his wrist, the ticking can get pretty loud. Nothing deafening, of course (it's only a watch), but you can hear it when you're next to him on the couch.

This is such an awesome watch that I'm hoping Rougois makes a more slender version with a bracelet strap for me!
