This watch fit everything I was looking for. Sapphire crystal, second hand, full dial illumination, solid stainless steel case, decent water resistance, 5 alarms, timer, and of course solar atomic. The watch is easy to set alarms. It has an easy to use hand setting function that makes sure the second and minute hands are precicely lined up where they are supposed to be. I give it almost perfect because 10 bar waterproof would have been preferred, but at 5 bar you can jump in the pool and take a shower with it. At 10 bar I would have been more confident about swimming and diving but its a small shortcoming. A DLC coating would be nice too, but at the price of this watch you won't get that. With the solid stainless, you have a watch that should look good after many years of constant wear. It has about as large a digital display as I've seen on an analog watch and the day date is more readable than the waveceptor I had that had to fit the seconds in the digital area because it didn't have the second hand. I need reading glasses, but can easily tell time to the second with this watch.

I'm a long time wearer of casio waveceptors. This replaces the waveceptor I had which was not fully stainless, didn't have full dial illumination, a second hand, sapphire crytal or 5 alarms.
