Before purchasing this watch box I had questions I wish someone had addressed in a review. Luckily the box turned out to be everything I hoped it would be. In this review I will address the questions I had before purchasing:

1. Are the slots big enough to handle bigger watches? Yes, at least for watches 50mm or smaller. In my old case the watches bumped into each other and I had to be very careful when closing the lid. My largest watches are a 45.5mm omega planet ocean, and a 48.9mm Casio aviator, they both fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare. Every watch could be 50mm or a little larger and they would never touch.

2. Is the quality of this case worth the extra money? Yes, I am so glad I purchased this box. The fit and finish are beautiful, solid wood, bevel cut glass (not Plexiglas), the lid is heavy and feels great to open and close, the lock works well. There is no question Volta was trying to build something exceptional and they succeeded.

My last watch box cost about half as much as this one and I felt it delivered good value for the money. I believe this box, at twice the price, also delivers good value; it was a definite upgrade.
