Who buys Azzaro watches? Aparently almost nobody. I'm in Europe now and I wasn't able to get any here.Even to google them isn't easy. Most link's are dead.Amazon US was about the only place I could find them, the price was right so I ordered them in spite of the taxes comming on arrival right to your house door for about 22% of the value.
So they don't seem to be very popular. That's very strange considering their highly original,instantly recognizable, attractive design. Otherwordly and slightly retro is what comes to mind. And also a certain restrained, conservative and very masculine touch you wouldn't expect from a french haute-coutoure house with roots in the wild late-60's. Very different from all those CK's, Emporio's and D&G's out there(most of which I find very pretty by the way)

Even though this particular model is quite glossy in reality(silver with silver bracelet model), so it's elegance is neither understated nor to serious at all, it is still a very noble dress watch.
Dial itself however is exactly like depicted here: veeery classy. Slightly reminiscent of Maurice Lacroix'Pontos(one of my favourit's)but not so in-your-face-elegant, more discrete(no tux required), and much cheaper of course.
The "left-handed" crown is nice.But you don't have to wear it on your right hand because of it's position.The crown is a very important part of the design concept but it's rather "expansive" so it could hinder some movements of delicate hand-tops while worn on the right wrist and lower. It's of course not easy to operate it while worn left. But it's no G-shock, you can just take it off when you realy have to adjust the time or change the time zone.

Why am I writing most of the time about appearences? Obviously it's a "Designer Watch" so if you're a wachmaker's apprentice and watch-movement fetichist this is just a normal, "cheap", reasonably reliable quartz without anything interesting to it.
But if you're looking for a very special and distinctive piece of jewelry for men(watches are all we have)then
this is it.
By the way the name of these watches is legEnd not legAnd. No idea why Amazon keeps repeating this error.

I bought this together with the blue/blue-strap version. Guess what? It's even more amazing in real life.
