This watch wouldn't quite cut it as a dress watch, but I got it for my significant other to garden and kayak in. For this, it is quite attractive. In fact, it looks better than the picture, and the gold-tone is restricted to the crown and a recessed part of the watch band, so it shouldn't wear off too quickly and it won't matter that much if it does. The only downside to this purchase is that it didn't come with the Seiko warranty, and the warranty provided doesn't cover water damage...the whole point of this 100m water resistant watch is using it in and around water. Still, I've found Seikos pretty reliable, so I'm not worried.
