I've had this beautiful Stuhrling watch for a couple months now. I have another Stuhrling watch already, so you can be sure that I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of this brand. It is a very attractive piece (in my opinion, and the others who have complimented me on it since the purchase). The construction feels very solid and it does not feel light/cheap at all. I have two issues, one of which I knew before the purchase and can live with, and the other which I found out afterwards. The first: the watch is an automatic piece, based on kinetics. For those not understanding that, it basically means that the movement of your wrist while wearing the watch keeps the hands turning. So, if you decide not to wear it for more than a day, you'll have to reset the time the next time you were the watch. Certainly a drawback in my opinion (I'd prefer something like the EcoDrive of Citizen), but it's one I knew before I purchased it (my other Stuhrling is the same way). The other issue was quite disappointing. If you have "normal" wrists or bigger, you can ignore this I guess. I have pretty thin/small wrists. I usually have to take 5-6 links out of the band when I buy a new watch. I took this to a jeweler, who took out 4 links. I tried it on and it was definitely too loose for my tastes. When I asked the jeweler to take out another link or two, who told me he couldn't because this band, for whatever horrible reason, was designed in a way that only allows 4 links to be removed. I couldn't believe it and he had to show me what he meant to convince me. So...I was stuck with it. It's not quite too loose that I returned it, but it's definitely not the fit I want. It slides and rolls on my wrist too much, but it's not unwearable.

Summary: Beautiful, sturdy construction. Drawbacks are the automatic style (must wear daily or else, reset time often) and if you have thin/small wrists, it may be too big since you can only remove a max of 4 links from the band. If you have normal wrists and don't mind the automatic aspect, I would certainly recommend this watch.
